It offers students a chance to apply creative thinking, technical expertise, critical analysis, analytical writing and research skills to apply theoretical concepts and information to current issues. Unlike the first writing for schools and universities class, this extended essay topic will be of special interest to humanities majors.Visual Arts IB will give students an opportunity to explore subjects such as religion, culture, mythology, historical or contemporary issues, and architecture. They will be able to demonstrate their ability to read and write about subjects that are timely and important to the world. All students must take a test on each extended essay topic, which may be taken as many times as they wish.The IB Extended Essay is an elective in Visual Arts I. Each extended essay can be used in one of five ways.
